UPSC CDS I Result 2023: The Union Public Service Commission has released the final results for the Combined Defence Services-I (CDS I) examination 2023, on its official website upsc.gov.in.
Candidates who had appeared and qualified for the written exam held in April 2023, and subsequently cleared the Officer’s Training Academy (OTA) written exam have been shortlisted in the result document.

Step 2: On the home page, look for the link related to UPSC CDS I 2023 final result.
Step 3: Click on the provided link, and a new PDF file will open, displaying roll numbers and names of candidates.
Step 4: Download the file and ensure to keep a hard copy for future reference.
Candidates can alternately check the result document using the direct link here.
According to the notice, candidates can access their marks within 15 days from the declaration of the final results on the UPSC official website, and this information will be available for 30 days.
The notice stated, “The following are the lists, in order of merit, in respect of 347 candidates who have finally qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2023 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and Interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the (i) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for 119th Short Service Commission Course (Men) (NT) (UPSC) and (ii) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 33rd Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course, commencing in April, 2024. The list of 119th Short Service Commission (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course also includes the names of some of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course(s).”

Vacancy details
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 341 posts. The available posts for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) I exam include positions in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force, and Officers Training Academy (OTA). The distribution of vacancies is as follows: 100 for IMA, 22 for INA, 32 for the Air Force, and 170 for Officers Training Academy (OTA) for men, with an additional 17 for OTA Women. The age limit for candidates applying for these positions is set between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2005, for IMA, INA, and the Air Force. For OTA, both men and women applying should fall within the age range of January 2, 1999, to January 1, 2005.
