SBI Apprentice Result 2024: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the results of the Apprentice exam conducted on 4th, 7th, and 23rd December 2023. Released on 26th February, candidates can access the result in PDF format via SBI’s official website at https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers.
The PDF comprises the roll numbers of provisionally selected candidates eligible for the Proficiency Test in Local Language(s).It is mandatory for selected candidates to qualify this language test; otherwise, they will not be engaged as apprentices. However, candidates who can produce their 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate demonstrating their study of the specified local language need not undergo the language test.

Candidates must appear for the specified local language test at a center designated by the Bank in the state they applied for, at their own expense. The SBI will not reimburse or cover any travel expenses incurred by candidates for attending the test. It is essential for candidates to comply with these requirements to proceed with the engagement process as apprentices at SBI.
The apprenticeship program entails a training period lasting for one year.
During the one-year engagement period, apprentices are entitled to receive a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month. However, they are not eligible for any additional allowances or benefits beyond the stipulated stipend amount.
Negative marks were applicable for incorrect answers in the Objective tests. A deduction of 1/4th of the mark assigned to the question was made for each wrong answer. Candidates were mandated to achieve a minimum percentage mark on aggregate, with a 5% relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. The minimum qualifying marks on aggregate were determined by the Bank, with no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects.
The merit list was drawn state-wise and category-wise. Candidates who had qualified in the test were placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order within their respective states and categories. If multiple candidates had scored the same marks as the cut-off, they were ranked based on their age in descending order within their respective states and categories.
