Candidates who had qualified the prelims round, and are eligible to appear in this stage of recruitment can check the public notice issued on the official website at mpsc.gov.in.
The notice released by MPSC lists several guidelines that candidates are required to adhere to, during the conduct of Main recruitment exam 2024. Here’s an overview of the points mentioned in the exam guidelines.
Selection process
According to the recruitment notice, a merit list is prepared by combining marks from the main examination and interview. The first general merit list is then published on the Commission’s website. After the general merit list is published, candidates are required to submit their preference order for cadre/posts through the Commission’s online application system within the specified period. Eligible candidates have one opportunity to state their preferences, especially in cases where multiple cadre and/or department posts are available.
Candidate eligibility for a cadre/post is assessed based on standards of physical fitness and educational qualifications provided in the pre-examination application. Candidates not meeting the prescribed conditions will not be given preference for the cadre.
Further, the notice states that a provisional selection list prepared based on the order of preference submitted by candidates. This list is then published on the Commission’s website, and candidates have seven days to submit the option of opting out from the recruitment process online.
The Final Recommendation List will then be prepared, considering the provisional selection list and the leave status of candidates who chose to exit the recruitment process. Throughout this process, the submission of preferences and withdrawal from the recruitment process is mandatory through the online application system within the specified period and manner.
