NEW DELHI: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) on Thursday released the BPSSC SI Prelims Result 2023. Candidates who have appeared for the Preliminary (Written) Examination conducted for the post of Sub Inspector Prohibition in Prohibition, Excise & Registration Dept., and Police Sub Inspector, Vigilance in Vigilance Dept. 2023 can check the result on the official website at bpssc.bih.nic.in.
The BPSSC SI Preliminary exam was conducted on November 1, 2023.As per the official notice, a total of 45,510 candidates appeared in the written examination and 1,129 candidates were declared ineligible due to misconduct and other reasons.

How to download BPSSC SI Prelims Result 2023?
Step 1: Visit the official website at bpssc.bih.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, go to Prohibition Dept. section.
Step 3: Now click on “Important Notice: Results of Preliminary (Written) Examination conducted for the post of Sub Inspector Prohibition in Prohibition, Excise & Registration Dept., and Police Sub Inspector, Vigilance in Vigilance Dept. (Advt. No. 03/2023).”
Step 4: A PDF will open on the screen, check the list of qualified candidates.
Step 5: Download the PDF and get its printout for further reference.

Candidates who have qualified in the BPSSC SI Preliminary Exam 2023 are eligible to appear for the BPSSC SI Main Exam 2023 for which further details will be released on the official website in due course.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 64 vacancies out of which 63 posts are for Sub-Inspector Prohibition and 1 post is for Police SI Vigilance. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a Written Test, PET/PMT, Character Verification/Certificate Verification and a medical check up.
