During his Monday night monologue, Kimmel suggested that Robinson might have been a pro-Trump Republican. Following the backlash, ABC has announced that Jimmy Kimmel has been pulled off the air indefinitely over his comments regarding the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Comment On Charlie Kirk & Trump

Jimmy Kimmel’s Monday night monologue sparked backlash, with many calling his remarks insensitive. During the segment, Kimmel said, ‘The Maga Gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.’  BBC quoted. 

According to BBC, the comedian further commented on Trump, saying, “This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he calls a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish.”

 Trump Says ‘Kimmel Has Zero Talent’

After the off air annoucement, Trump celebrated ABC’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live, calling it ‘Great News for America.’. In a Truth Social post, Trump hits back at Jimmy Kimmel as ‘ratings challenged’ and has ‘ZERO talent,’ while praising ABC for ‘finally having the courage to do what had to be done.’ He further added, ‘That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC… Do it NBC!!!’
