Ousted Pakistani PM Imran Khan has left his residence to appear before Lahore High Court. He was asked to appear before it today in multiple cases. Khan, the 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, had approached the Lahore High Court earlier in the day to seek protective bail in nine cases. Five of those cases are registered in Islamabad and four in Lahore. He has been resisting arrest in the Toshakhana case and is holed up inside his Zaman Park residence here surrounded by hundreds of his supporters, who have fought pitched battles with the police and Rangers over the past few days.
