By India Today Sports Desk: Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh shared a picture with Rishabh Pant after meeting the Indian wicketkeeper as he recovers from the injuries he sustained in a car crash last year.
Pant was involved in a car crash on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in December last year as his vehicle collided with a divider and caught fire. The Indian wicketkeeper had to undergo surgery to repair the injuries he had sustained from the accident.
The Indian wicketkeeper has been posting updates about his recovery with the fans, recently posting a video of him walking in the pool.
Now, Yuvraj has posted a picture after meeting with Pant. The former all-rounder claimed that the Indian wicketkeeper would make his comeback to the side.
Yuvraj also said it was good to catch up with Pant and have a good laugh with him. The former cricketer hailed Pant as a positive and funny guy in the heartwarming post on Instagram.
“On to baby steps !!! This champion is going to rise again.Was good catching up and having a laugh what a guy positive and funny always !! More power to you, said Yuvraj Singh.

The injuries sustained in the car crash mean that Pant will be missing the IPL this year and also the ODI World Cup in India. Pant was replaced by David Warner as the skipper of Delhi Capitals for the season and the Australian said that the franchise would miss the Indian wicketkeeper.
“Rishabh has been a terrific leader for Delhi Capitals, and we’re all going to miss having him around. I would like to thank the management for the faith and trust they’ve always shown in me,” Warner said in a statement.
