Supporters of Imran Khan gathered in huge numbers outside his Zaman Park residence in Lahore after Islamabad Police reached the spot with the intention of arresting the former Pakistan PM.

By India Today World Desk: Police personnel in riot gear reached Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore on Tuesday. The police are outside Khan’s residence with the intention of arresting the former Pakistan prime minister, as per local media reports.
As armoured vehicles made their way to Imran Khan’s residence, his party PTI urged supporters to reach Zaman Park soon.
Islamabad Deputy Inspector General (DIG) (Operations) Shahzad Bukhari said that officials had gathered outside Imran Khan’s residence to take the PTI chief into custody, as per a report by Dawn.
It is not known yet in which case police have come to arrest Imran Khan as the former Pakistan PM has outstanding warrants of arrest against him in more than one case.
The Islamabad DIG did not reveal the details of the case in which Imran Khan is facing arrest.
