In the video, one of the shooters, who is believed to be a Russian soldier, can be heard saying “die” and using an expletive after the soldier is shot.

The Ukrainian Army’s 30th Mechanized Brigade identified the soldier as Tymofii Mykolayovych Shadura on Tuesday. According to the brigade, Shadura was part of the contingent and had been missing since February 3 after fighting near Bakhmut. It added that the soldier’s body is currently in the temporarily occupied territory and the final confirmation of his identity will be established after the body is returned.

Zelenskyy said the video shows “how the occupiers brutally killed a warrior”. During his nightly address on Monday, the Ukrainian President said, “Today, a video has been released showing how the occupiers brutally killed a warrior who bravely said to their faces: Glory to Ukraine.”

He urged people to unite, saying, “I want us all to respond to his words in unity: ‘Glory to the hero. Glory to heroes. Glory to Ukraine.” “We will find the murderers,” he added.

So far, there is no confirmation on the identity of the killer or killers who shot the soldier.
