Bombay HC orders demolition of illegal structure at Narayan Rane’s bungalow

The Bombay High Court ordered the demolition of an illegal structure constructed by Union Minister Narayan Rane at his Bunglow in Juhu.

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on Rane.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had, earlier, sent a notice to Union Minister Narayan Rane’s Juhu residence over alleged illegal construction and alterations in the bungalow.

The notice, signed by a designated officer of the K-West ward of the BMC, was issued under Section 351 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act for alleged unauthorised change of use, in contravention to the plan approved by the civic body.
